New York Santacon:

This was my first trip to New York since December 2000. It coincided with the annual New York Santacon which is described on the official website as a '“charitable, non-political, nonsensical Santa Claus convention that happens once a year to spread absurdist joy”. Most participants appeared to be students who view Santacon as an excuse to dress up as Santa or an elf and go on a day-long pub crawl (with predictable results).
